Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildkats now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elwood for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 3.

With the loss, Eastern falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to face the Argylls in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 3. The Argylls enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Madison-Grant lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Western (Russiaville, IN)
