Virginia High School Baseball - Herndon edges Briar Woods
March 21, 2025: Herndon, VA 20170 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) and the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), saw Herndon's baseball team gain a win over Briar Woods by a tally of 11-9.
The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the Liberty battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Langley by Centreville (Clifton, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Falcons face the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Briar Woods will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA).
