March 21, 2025: Farmington, NM 87402 The Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 7-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pueblo West for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Piedra Vista will clash with a Cyclones team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Grants (Grants, NM). The Cyclones record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Grants drops to 4-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Aztec (Aztec, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Aztec lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO)
