The Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), 10-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lincolnwood for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. Staunton will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Metro-East Lutheran drops to 3-1 on the year. The Knights host Cahokia (Cahokia, IL) to clash with the Comanches in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Comanches go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
