The Valley Vikings baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Serra Catholic Eagles to 1 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.

The Vikings now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Hills for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Valley will play a Indians team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Serra Catholic drops to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Monessen (Monessen, PA) to play the Greyhounds in a WPIAL 1A 3 test on Monday, March 24. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 0-3. Monessen lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Uniontown (Uniontown, PA)
