California High School Volleyball - Sun Valley Magnet over Chavez
March 21, 2025: San Fernando, CA 91340 In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Chavez Eagles.
The Pioneers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Mustang enter the Central Valley challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys beat Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Monday, March 24. Chavez will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA).
