The Strongsville Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Avon Eagles to 8 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Magnificat for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26.

With the loss, Avon falls to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles host Boardman (Youngstown, OH) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
