In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-13 win over the Bishop McGuinness Villains.

The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, West Forsyth was nipped by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 18-4, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Villains meet the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont contest, on Monday, March 24. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 8-1 league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
