Virginia High School Soccer - Rock Ridge toppled by Meridian
March 21, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20148 Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Meridian moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Phoenix now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Broad Run for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Rock Ridge will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
