California High School Lacrosse - Monte Vista nips Redwood

The Monte Vista Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting Redwood Giants to 8 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Marin Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Monte Vista will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Urban (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Redwood falls to 5-4 on the year. The Giants host Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA) to clash with the Red Tailed Hawks in a Marin County challenge on Monday, March 24. The Red Tailed Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Tamalpais won 13-4 in their recent league challenge against San Marin (Novato, CA)
