Illinois High School Baseball - Riverside-Brookfield loses to Plainfield Central
March 21, 2026: Plainfield, IL 60544 The Plainfield Central Wildcats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Wildcats now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Conant for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 24. Plainfield Central will play a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Riverside-Brookfield moves to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Argo (Summit, IL) to battle the Argonauts in a non-league outing on Monday, March 23. The Argonauts come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Argo won 10-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hancock (Chicago, IL)
