Louisiana High School Softball - Sumner bounces Block
March 21, 2026: Kentwood, LA 70444 The Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA) softball routed the visiting Block Bears (Jonesville, LA), 15-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Cowboys now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mangham for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 21. Sumner will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, LA). The Dragons record now stands at 9-4.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Delta Charter Storm (Ferriday, LA) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Monday, March 23. Block will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 9-7 non-league loss to Pine (Franklinton, LA).
