In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Silver Fighting Colts softball team scored a nice 15-0 triumph over the Lovington Wildcats.

Next, the Fighting Colts play the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 21. Silver will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 21-0 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM).

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Piedra Vista overcame Silver (Silver City, NM), 12-11, in a non-league challenge.
