The Ashley Screaming Eagle soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Topsail Pirates to 1 in the Screaming Eagle league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Screaming Eagle face the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A contest, on Thursday, March 24. Ashley will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 9-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).
