Georgia High School Soccer - Johnson knocks off Apalachee
March 22, 2022: Gainesville, GA 30507 The Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) soccer bounced the visiting Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), 5-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the victory, Johnson moves its record to 14-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to battle the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Thursday, March 24. The Eagles enter the bout with a record of 4-8. Eastside lost 4-1 in their recent league bout against Loganville (Loganville, GA)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, March 25. Apalachee will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 3-9 record after their 6-1 non-league win over White County (Cleveland, GA).
