March 22, 2022: La Vernia, TX 78121 The La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) softball held off the visiting Incarnate Word Shamrocks (San Antonio, TX), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
With the triumph, La Vernia moves its record to 9-11 on the year. The Bears travel to Pieper (San Antonio, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 1-8.
In their next game, the Shamrocks play the Navarro Panthers (Geronimo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 29. Incarnate Word will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 14-6 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX).
