The Churchland Truckers baseball team (Portsmouth, VA), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA)

The Hornets now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Branch for a Southeastern outing on Thursday, March 23.

Next, the Truckers face the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern outing, on Friday, March 24. Churchland will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Greyhounds enter the outing with a 0-2 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA).
