March 22, 2023: Madison, TN 37115 The Goodpasture Christian Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Winfield Pirates to 5 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN). The Cougars go into the D II-A Middle 4 match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Clarksville Academy tipped Northeast (Clarksville, TN), 5-0, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Alabama Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN), 14-2, in a non-league match.
