March 22, 2023: Rome, GA 30161 In Wednesday's league battle, the host Darlington Tigers soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Chattooga Indians.
The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Pumas come into the 1A D-I Area 7 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Dalton Academy tipped Coosa (Rome, GA), 3-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 7 bout, on Friday, March 24. Chattooga will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Ringgold (Ringgold, GA).
