March 22, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24017 Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Colonels confront the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Friday, March 24. Fleming will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fluvanna County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. Liberty Christian will confront a Flying Flucos team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 2-3.
