Georgia High School Soccer - McDonough overwhelmed by Pace Academy
March 22, 2023: McDonough, GA 30253 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Pace Academy Knights (Atlanta, GA) and the host McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA), saw Pace Academy's soccer squad triumph over McDonough by a count of 10-0.
The Knights now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tucker for a non-league test on Monday, March 27. Pace Academy will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, McDonough drops to 1-11 on the season. The Warhawks host Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-7. Mt. Zion 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Morrow (Morrow, GA)
