Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. Grant Community will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
