Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Paxton-Buckley-Loda for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27.

With the loss, Grant Park falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Donovan (Donovan, IL) to face the Wildcats in a River Valley challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Donovan lost 24-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Watseka (Watseka, IL)
