March 22, 2024: Higginsville, MO 64037 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) and the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO), saw Lafayette County's baseball squad knock off St. Paul Lutheran by a count of 14-4.
Next up, the Huskers clash with the Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO) in a Class 3 District 15 match, on Monday, March 25. Lafayette County will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the match with a 7-1 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Barstow (Kansas City, MO).
The Saints (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Wellington-Napoleon ran past Adrian (Adrian, MO), 15-3, in a non-league match.
