March 22, 2024: Watkinsville, GA 30677 Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, March 26. Oconee County will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 6-3 league loss to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA).
The Indians now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County for a 3A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Stephens County will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-2 league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Lions record now stands at 3-6.
