New York High School Lacrosse - Bellport drops to Riverhead
March 22, 2024: Riverhead, NY 11901 In Friday's non-league test, the host Riverhead Blue Waves lacrosse squad scored a good 17-2 victory over the Bellport Clippers.
The Blue Waves now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ward Melville for a Section 11 I test on Tuesday, March 26. Riverhead will face a Patriots squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Chaminade (Mineola, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Clippers face the Kings Park Kingsmen (Kings Park, NY) in a Section 11 II test, on Monday, March 25. Bellport will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
