The South Brunswick Cougars lacrosse squad (Southport, NC), was nipped 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC)

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a 5A District 5 challenge, on Monday, March 25. Carolina Forest will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 16-3 non-league win over Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC).
