Virginia High School Softball - Carroll County bounces Bassett
March 22, 2024: Bassett, VA 24055 The Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) softball routed the host Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cavaliers (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Pulaski County was routed by Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 14-7, in a league bout.
The Bengals now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Patrick County for a non-league bout on Monday, March 25. Bassett will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
