Louisiana High School Baseball - Ponchatoula defeats Franklinton
March 22, 2025: Ponchatoula, LA 70454 The Ponchatoula Green Wave baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Franklinton Demons to 2 in the Green Wave non-league win on Saturday.
The Green Wave now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul's for a 5A District 6 test on Tuesday, March 25. Ponchatoula will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 10-0 league win over Hammond (Hammond, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 9-12.
With the defeat, Franklinton drops to 9-12 on the year. The Demons host Central Private (Baker, LA) to clash with the Redhawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Redhawks go into the test with a record of 12-11. Central Private lost 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Brusly (Brusly, LA)
