March 22, 2025: French Settlement, LA 70733 The French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA) baseball got by the visiting St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), 9-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. French Settlement will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 15-9.
With the defeat, St. Michael drops to 7-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a 4A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. McKinley lost 11-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Northeast (Pride, LA)
