The Melrose Buffaloes baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Rehoboth Christian Lynx to 11 in the Buffaloes non-league win on Saturday.

The Buffaloes now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Rosa for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Melrose will play a Lions team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Rehoboth Christian drops to 1-3 on the year. The Lynx host Gallup (Gallup, NM) to play the Bengals in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Bengals go into the test with a record of 2-6. Gallup won 10-6 in their recent non-league test against Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ)
