The Sierra Pacific Golden Bears baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers to 0 in the Golden Bears non-league win on Saturday.

The Golden Bears now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lemoore for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Sierra Pacific will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 league win over Tulare Union (Tulare, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Mt. Whitney drops to 3-7 on the year. The Pioneers host El Diamante (Visalia, CA) to clash with the Miners in a East Yosemite test on Tuesday, March 25. The Miners go into the test with a record of 4-4. El Diamante won 6-0 in their recent league test against Monache (Porterville, CA)
