March 22, 2025: Thibodaux, LA 70301 The Thibodaux Tigers baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Newman Greenies to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they host Destrehan for a 5A District 8 test on Tuesday, March 25. Thibodaux will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.
With the defeat, Newman drops to 9-10 on the year. The Greenies travel to East Jefferson (Metairie, LA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, March 24. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 10-10. East Jefferson lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA)
