Missouri High School Baseball - Platte County wallops Winnetonka
March 22, 2025: Platte City, MO 64079 The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) and the visiting Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO), saw Platte County's baseball team gain a win over Winnetonka by a tally of 11-1.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Billingsley (Billingsley, AL). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Billingsley prevailed over Marion (Marion, AL), 21-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Griffins face the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 24. Winnetonka will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Savages enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Nixa (Nixa, MO).
