Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) and the visiting Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), observed Carlsbad's volleyball team top Highland by a count of 2-0.

The Lancers (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks enter the Coastal (NCC) contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Del Norte notched a victory over Poway (Poway, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.
