In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Palo Alto Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Nevada Union Miners.

The Vikings (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Trojans come into the SCVAL - Foothill challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Milpitas beat MacDonald (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Miners play the Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA) in a Foothill Valley challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Honkers come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA).
