Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA), 7-6 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Western Albemarle advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors host Salem (Salem, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 0-1.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league game on Friday, April 4.
