The Turpin Spartans triumphed over the visiting Shelby County Rockets lacrosse team by a tally of 20-4 in Saturday's non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Milford Eagles (Milford, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 9. Turpin will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

The Rockets (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Cooper (Union, KY), 17-13, in a non-league match.
