Virginia High School Softball - Amherst County bounces Lebanon
March 22, 2025: Amherst, VA 24521 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) and the visiting Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA), observed Amherst County's softball team edge Lebanon by a margin of 10-3.
The Lancers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22. Amherst County will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Lebanon moves to 1-2 on the season. The Pioneers host Bluefield (Bluefield, WV) to encounter the Beavers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Beavers come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Bluefield lost 15-7 in their recent non-league outing against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
