The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) and the visiting Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS), observed East Union's softball team get by Northpoint Christian by a tally of 6-3.

The Urchins (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Lions go into the 2A Region 1 bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Hamilton was routed by Hatley (Amory, MS), 6-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Northpoint Christian will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 19-2 league win over Southwind (Memphis, TN).
