California High School Softball - Morro Bay can't get by Golden Valley
March 22, 2025: Morro Bay, CA 93442 Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), 1-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Golden Valley upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Blades in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Blades enter the game with a record of 1-7. East Bakersfield lost 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Chavez (Delano, CA)
The Pirates now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Santa Ynez for a CCAA - Ocean game on Thursday, March 27. Morro Bay will play a Pirates squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Nipomo (Nipomo, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-6.
