The Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) softball triumphed over the host Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA), 20-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Crimson Tide play the Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) in a Schuylkill I challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Pottsville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Raiders enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Hamburg (Hamburg, PA).

The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Muhls enter the Berks County 1 challenge with a 0-3 record.
