Arkansas High School Softball - Highland topped by Greenland
March 22, 2025: Greenland, AR 72737 Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR), 15-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Greenland upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Elkins (Elkins, AR) to play the Elks in a 3A Region 1 game on Monday, March 31. The Elks enter the game with a record of 6-6. Elkins won 22-13 in their recent league game against West Fork (West Fork, AR)
The Rebels now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Batesville for a non-league game on Monday, March 31. Highland will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Paragould (Paragould, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-5.
