The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) and the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), observed Halifax County's softball team get by Pulaski County by a tally of 9-8.

The Comets (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors go into the Piedmont bout with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Pulaski County will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
