March 22, 2025: West Monroe, LA 71292 The West Ouachita Chiefs overwhelmed the visiting Live Oak Eagles softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs meet the St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. West Ouachita will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Gators go into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 8-7 league loss to Live Oak (Watson, LA).
The Eagles (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Iowa (Iowa, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Iowa toppled LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA), 21-1, in a non-league challenge.
