March 22, 2025: Marion, IL 62959 In Saturday's non-league test, the Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL), by a count of 9-3.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 25. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL).
The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Oakwood held off Armstrong (Armstrong, IL), 4-1, in a non-league test.
