California High School Volleyball - Bentley tips Alhambra
March 23, 2022: Lafayette, CA 94549 Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Phoenix clash with the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA) in a Bay Counties match, on Friday, March 25. Bentley will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Pilots come into the match with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Valley Christian (Dublin, CA).
With the loss, Alhambra drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA) to clash with the Red Devils in a Diablo - Valley match on Thursday, March 24. The Red Devils come into the match with a record of 8-7. Mt. Diablo won 3-0 in their recent league match against Miramonte (Orinda, CA)
