March 23, 2022: Orlando, FL 32803 Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Lake Highland Prep Highlanders (Orlando, FL), 11-8 in a non-league test.
The Sharks now have a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creekside for a non-league test on Saturday, March 26. Ponte Vedra will face a Knights squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.
In their next game, the Highlanders face the The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL) in a 1A D5 test, on Friday, March 25. Lake Highland Prep will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Royals come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL).
