In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Severance Silver Knights baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Mead Mavericks.

The Silver Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Montrose (Montrose, CO). The Red Hawks go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Montrose tipped Greeley West (Greeley, CO), 7-0, in a non-league game.
