The The New Community School Sabers got by the host Covenant Eagles baseball team by a count of 13-12 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Sabers now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Grace Christian School for a Virginia Metro bout on Thursday, March 30.

Next, the Eagles face the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, March 24. Covenant will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 16-5 league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
